Quartz – Quartz countertops are comprised of 90-93% crushed stone such as granite, marble, quartz and other natural stones and can include other substances like ceramic, silica, glass, mirrors, etc. The remaining 7-10% being a combination of resin, polymers and pigments that create the interesting colors and variations but without the pores and cracks found in natural stone. Quartz is extremely hard and durable, non-porous and stain-and-crack resistant. It does not require sealing.
